The Lush Haul

Lush1

Recently, bagged a couple of goodies from the Lush store, which I have tested for a few weeks now and would rate them all as good. Not outstanding, but good.

For all the itchy scalpers Lush is to the rescue. I get seasonal itchiness and keep my scalp clean few times a week. A visit to the Lush store has to bring me some goodies back home. This time around the main buy was the Soak and Float Shampoo bar. Well the name does not mean anything of what the bar is supposed to be used as. I would have thought of it as bubble bar soap with such a name. But it definitely does what it says. There is no promise of eliminating dandruff or flakes in the scalp. It calms your scalp till the next wash. I would recommend this also, for little girls with scalp flakiness. Because it is vegan and is made of natural products, it does not load your hair with chemicals you may find in medicated shampoos. I learnt that their main ingredient Cade oil is said to soothe irritated eczema and help treat the scalp.

If you have heard of Kaolin clay, come across or loved products with this ingredient in it and you have oily skin, you must try Herbalism. The solid cleanser from Lush has been on my bath vanity lately. When I say solid, it has a grainy texture, which turns to foam with the right amount of water drops mixed into it. It definitely cleanses the skin well and the texture helps exfoliate while cleansing, which I love about cleansers. It has sage & rosemary which helps give the antibacterial effect to the wash. Rice bran and almonds help exfoliate the skin while cleansing it.

Last of the tiny product lot is the Lush bubble gum scrub. Bought a second pot of this, which says enough of what I think of it. Natural ingredients, great scent, scrub perfectly to a smooth lip. What else is there to say about it?

All of these have been tested & then reviewed.
