Let me get straight into the beauty edit. These are some of the makeup products I have been using and loving all of this summer.
1. Beauty Blender Bounce Foundation
This was a find through the Instagram of MyFashDiary. I was intrigued & got the color 3.35 for myself. It is pretty high coverage and is beautiful. I would say, for textured skin, you need to apply a hydrating primer like the Smashbox primerizer or Laura Mercier primer.
2. Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation
This is an old & cult favorite of mine & among many makeup artists. My shade is 6 for the summer as I like it to give me a little bronzed look. This is suitable for every skin type & texture.
3. Too Faced Concealer
The pigment in all of the base products of Too Faced is fabulous & this concealer is a great find for me this month. My shade is Golden Beige and it comes in a variety of tones & colors. Glides on smoothly & does not leave a cakey feeling.
4. Nudestix Nudies
5. Nars Tinted Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base
My go-to eyeshadow base, at the moment. It covers all the darkness on my lids. I am looking to now buy the other colors as well. They have an orange shade which is great for can be used as a corrector under concealer as well.
6. YsL Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara
A thick wand, very dark pigment; makes it perfect for achieving length & volume. The technique to apply mascara the correct way is to tilt your head up so you can do the application from the roots of your lashes. Very happy with this YSL mascara.
