It’s officially Fall season in Dubai. The weather is cooler, winds are calmer. People don’t look grumpy because of the Dubai heat anymore. More pictures of the outdoors on socials. It’s brunches, parties & happy times.
Moving on to the products; beauty & makeup, that I am loving this season. Let’s start with the star products.
1. La Mer Renewal Oil & Shiffa Beauty Jade roller
The house of La Mer is a no brainer when it’s down to skincare. I did my research before buying the Renewal oil & I am very pleased with my purchase. It does not apply as an oil does. I say it’s a hybrid of an oil and a serum. There is no tackiness to it, neither is there an oily residue. It glides into the skin and disappears almost immediately. Sometimes when my skin is parched, I apply it twice a day or at least once a day for my nighttime skincare routine.
The jade roller is by Shiffa beauty. This is the first face tool I own. I use this every morning with my moisturizer & at night with the La Mer renewal oil. I keep it in the refrigerator and it is so good for calming and activating the blood vessels in the facial skin. I also use it under my eyes with the smaller end of it. This helps in depuffing and start the lymphatic drainage of the skin.
2. Physicians Formula Butter bronzer
This is not a newbie in the cosmetic circles but is one in my kit. It’s just beautifully pigmented & glides on real smooth. I use this with my MAC 168S brush for an overall summer look, even in the winters.
3. Sephora high coverage concealer
This is a beautiful concealer. They have a wide range of shades as well. My shade is Almond. It barely creases; as I barely apply powder on my face. It does have a natural finish as it says, yet has great coverage. I find myself reaching out for this the most this month.
4. Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof in Blanc Graphique
One of the creamiest white eyeliners I have ever used. It is most definitely long-lasting as well and the color payoff is beautiful. It does come in 15 shades. I will most assuredly be purchasing the Noir Intense, Fervent Blue and Marine colors as well.
