I buy tons of products every week and not all pass the beauty test. I’ve sort of dedicated this buying spree for drugstore products lately.
Starting clockwise, here are a few that did pass the test.
First on the list is the Bourjois Shine Edition lipstick. This was sent to me and it was a gorgeous red! Just not the red for me. So after a quick swatch, I passed it off to a dear friend who could carry off the red and am hoping she’s loving it! I would say that this lip product is more of a balm with tons of color pay off. Yes, it’s that moisturizing and does give a lovely shine. Perfect for summer!
The Maybelline Fit Me range is a great product which is easy on your pocket too. I am loving the Fit Me concealer, which reminds me of the MAC Select Moisture cover. My color in the Fit Me range is 25. Its a medium tone concealer, which suits me best in summers considering the extreme tan I am sporting.
Rimmel Apocalips! Loving it. I have 3 shades from their range and my favorite, in my bag kinda color is Nova. Its a gorgeous pink and a little goes a long way. Gorgeous lip colors!
I have always loved paint pots. Effect of a lipstick, the feel of a balm; what’s not to love about it. I tend to write about products easily available in the UAE. And this little baby brand, ColorBar is now here. So, I was delighted when I saw their store in Arabian Centre. They have some awesome products, more of which I will be talking about soon. For now, you must get your hands on their lip pots. Gorgeous colors! Love their nude color too.
Rimmel mascara. I am more of a fan of voluminous lashes. For the simple reason that I have sufficient lash length but need more volume. Rimmel Lash Accelerator does give a lot of length to the lashes and is more of a lash treatment. They say that you can have 117% longer looking lashes in 30 days. Well, that I don’t know about. Have any of you tried it yet?
